Leaving a weak model behind to find a stronger project

Programme participant

Alex joined with an idea for a 3D-printing marketplace. He calculated several business models, made a series of pivots, and abandoned the original project when its economics proved unsustainable. His final pivot led to a partnership with another participant and the international jewellery project CLOUDS.

«Walking away from the project was not a defeat, but an entrepreneurial decision that made room for a stronger opportunity.»

«We combined technology and craft: a digital form became a piece of jewellery and reached an international stage.»

From specialist to entrepreneur

Programme participant

Svetlana joined the programme with an established business and extensive professional experience. Over the year, she reassessed its model, calculated the economics of her services, recognised the limits of her previous approach, and began moving from constant personal involvement towards a system built on numbers, strategy, and a team.

«I used to see myself as a specialist who worked a great deal. Now I see myself as an entrepreneur building a system.»

Yet his business had reached a glass ceiling. The programme helped him structure his accumulated experience, build a system, and find a mutually supportive community.

«If I had taken this programme two years earlier, I could have saved tens of thousands of shekels on my mistakes.»

Frequently Asked Questions

No. You can join the programme without a ready business idea. The early part of the programme includes a stage for finding, creating and initially developing possible directions. What you genuinely need is a serious intention to pursue entrepreneurship and a readiness to search for your own working idea.

Yes. The participant chooses a new direction or a substantial change to their existing business and takes it through all stages of the programme — from research to launch. Entrepreneurial experience helps them go deeper on their own project and share practical knowledge with other participants.

Yes. You can join the programme with basic Hebrew or none at all. The programme helps you prepare to communicate with locals, customers, entrepreneurs and organisations, gradually making use of the language, translation, prepared materials and support from other people.

Participants search for customers and partners themselves, with the team's support. Teachers, mentors and experts help work out who to look for, prepare the outreach, choose suitable communities and channels, and overcome language and cultural barriers. The programme cannot promise a specific customer, partner or outcome of an introduction in advance.

The participant reviews the evidence gathered and works out why that happened. They can then change the solution, choose a different customer group, refine the problem, substantially rework the project, find a new idea, or — by mutual agreement — join another participant's project.
